Try Our New Catalog!

Our catalog has gotten a major overhaul! You'll see some big differences in the catalog when you visit in any browser. Check it out at catalog.lcplin.org!

Here are some highlights: 

• More relevant search results--no more scrolling past study guides to find the novel you want to read.
• Libby items automatically included in searches. You can even check out Libby items right from your search results.
• "In-library use only" items are more clearly marked, so you won't go through the holds process only to find you can't take home an item.
• All formats of a title bundled together. See at a glance whether there's a large print or audiobook version.
• Search your saved lists (now called bookmarks) to more easily find what you saved. Bookmarks are also fully printable!

Search enhancements will soon be available in the app, too! (Saved lists in the app will still be separate, though.)

Not keen on change? The old catalog is still available at pac.lcplin.org/polaris.

Note: Reading list migration is taking longer than anticipated. Please enjoy all the new catalog features while we continue to work on moving your saved lists over! Remember that changes made to lists in the new catalog will not appear on lists in the old catalog, and vice versa.

UPDATE 10/23/25: Reading list migration is ongoing! We will update this note when it is complete. 

Heads up! We're rolling out some amazing upgrades to the library catalog. At 9:30 PM 10/22/25 we'll migrate your saved reading lists to the new experience.

Any changes you make to your lists on the current catalog after 9:30 PM won't be automatically moved over; you'll have to update them yourself on the new catalog.

Don't Panic:

• The old catalog will still be available to compare if you're not sure what changes you made or if they carried over.
• You can keep using the old catalog if you want.
• This will not affect lists saved in the app - those are still separate from lists you create in the catalog in a browser.
