About the Board of Trustees
The Lake County Public Library is governed by the Board of Trustees. The seven member board is responsible for library governance and policy. Trustees are appointed by the Lake County Commissioners, the Lake County Council, the Merrillville School Board and the Nine School Boards of Lake County.
